A love of peanut butter and a trip to New Zealand in a camper van called Freda were the inspiration behind this uniquely flavoured, deeply roasted brand with natural ingredients. They needed to scale D2C sales to enable investment in trade shows to grow B2B sales.

Understanding The Challenge

Our aim was to establish a PPC, SEO and social media strategy to scale D2C website sales enabling the brand to invest in trade shows to scale B2B sales. We started the project in early 2023 and security issues came to light in their analytics and technology stack. This pushed our program back and caused disappointing ROI in the first three months of the project.

Our Approach

After discovering issues with the existing WordPress website reducing conversion rates more than anticipated, we had a tough conversation about what success looked like. Because we approached Freda's and still believed they could succeed, we offered three months of pro-bono time to optimise the website. Following this, the campaign flourished to deliver very strong returns on digital marketing, enabling investment in subscriptions, a Shopify migration and much more.
